A Much Needed (and Quick) Update

The past little while has been pretty chaotic, but I'm ready to get back on track! To sum it up nice and quick, we moved to a rental in a nice little cottage town that we love and we were able to park our RV in the driveway so we can finally renovate it! Our budget is crazy tight (more like non existent), but I'm not letting that stop me! The universe has my back and I know things will work out for us.

As we head into nicer weather, my 14 year old son and I are eager to get working on our big project. We haven't gotten the chance to do too much yet, especially because we've had to use it as storage after moving (we downsized A LOT...like 1/3 of the square footage we used to have. It's been a task to say the least...). We did, however, decide that before we can begin we needed to brighten things up inside so those terribly dated valances had to go.

I was pretty intimidated to do it at first because I really didn't want to cause any damage, but it turned out to be pretty easy. I can't imagine that I'm the only one who's felt that fear of doing the wrong thing on their first RV renovation, but I actually found it kind of hard to get information on some of these more basic things. So I've also decided to start sharing some very basic how-tos in hopes that it will instill some confidence in others taking on a similar endeavour.

Anyways, that's my quick update for now. There should be a lot more coming now that we're finally settling in. Sending everyone lots of happy, positive vibes!
